Has anyone with a 2016 13" TB MBP tried using it on a 5k display? I'm curious as to the performance when viewing video at that res.

A 1080p video on my 13" display using VLC Player uses just under 40% CPU.
The same video on my Windows desktop uses 2% CPU.

I'm assuming the 2% Windows CPU load is due to the GPU doing the decoding but it has me worried that if 1080p video at 2560x1600 uses 40% how much load will it be at 5120x2880? What about a 4k video at 5k?

I wanted the LG 5k display but what got me worried about 13" non-gpu performance is when I watched this Youtube 360 video in 4k it was very choppy. Safari doesn't support Youtube 360 video so I had to use Chrome.

Your thoughts appreciated.
