E Easysix42 macrumors newbie Original poster Sep 20, 2016 5 0 Nov 22, 2016 #1 I put my new MacBook Pro 2.7/512/455 to sleep with about 90% battery two days ago. I picked it up this morning with 4%. What gives? I thought I had 7 days of standby? Anyone else seeing this?

Actually, you should get almost 30 days of sleep. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1776 There are some things to try at this page. Do you have happen to have any peripherals attached? That will prevent deep sleep and run the battery down faster.

I suppose that might be something other than sleep. No peripherals.

Click to expand... Try running the command below in Terminal to see what is running that might be keeping it from sleeping properly. This will help you interpret the results of the command.
