2016 15" MBP with LG 5K Monitor

Well I bit the bullet and bought a LG 5K Monitor to go with my 2016 15" MBP. Visually the display looks better in person than in photo's not as chunky more pleasing design in person. Operates flawlessly as expected. Very bright even brighter than my MBP.

My biggest take from this is not as ugly as I thought. Not Apple beautiful but minimalist cool.

I would recommend if you are looking for a Monitor in this price range.

This matches my experience. The design is very minimalist and the price, with the current sale, makes it worth it. I've had no performance issues running it. MacBook does run hotter because the 460 GPU turns on as soon as you plug in the monitor.
