Hi,

Looking for ideas here folks. I've got an issue with my Mac that I can't seem to resolve.

All of a sudden today, the Mac won't charge. It claims to still be drawing power from 85W USB-C charger, but not sure what will happen when the battery dies.

Tried resetting SMC but no joy. Please tell me I don't have to take this to the Genius Bar and that there's another step I can take.

Good afternoon David,

You can try to reset the PRAM (hold CMD+ALT+P+R on startup). Is that any better?

It could be the charging block itself.

You don't happen to know someone with another 2016 MBP by chance?
