2016 15" - Trackpad dead zone?

Just got a new 15" with Touch Bar and noticed there is a dead zone that will not register a click on the trackpad along the right edge, about the width of my finger. If I slide my finger into this area, it will generally click, but not if I just try to tap and click. Does anyone else have this on their 15" ?

Seems like a feature, possibly "palm rejection." This seems to occur pretty consistently on any edge at a distance which would make finger touch the edge or do almost so, but moving inwards on the touchpad just a little, this is not the case.
