Was at my local Micro Center the other day and they've got a few Apple-refurbished, 2016 13" 2.0 GHz MacBook Pro's for $799 -- with 8GB RAM and 256GB hard drive, and a one-year Apple warranty. Doesn't seem like too bad of a deal for a basic beating around laptop. But is it? I know that this model was the first year of the keyboard issues everyone is screaming about, and also Flexgate. So what do you guys think: pass on this deal or nab one for my mother and hope for the best? Since it's a refurb, maybe Apple fixed the display cable problem and replaced the keyboard with a 2017 keyboard. Or maybe not. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thx!

The 2019 refurbished models are $1269 and have the newer keyboard and a much faster quad-core. It is something to think about.
