Great news, the A1708 MacBook Pro (non-touchbar version) can now use M.2 NVME SSD with a new adaptor.

I've just upgraded to 2TB SSD for A1708 MacBook Pro.

Hi, so after reading the power consumtion problem is due to the Adapter not the SSD? Im planning to buy the one without the capacitor as it could fit double sided ssd but worried about battery life...
