2016 Macbook does Target Display Mode on old iMacs (pic)

Not aware of anyone else posting about this. To confirm, yes, you can use Target Display Mode on older Thunderbolt iMacs with the new 2016 MacBook Pro. I'm using Apple's Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter.

Here's my 15" MBP hooked up to a 2011 21.5 iMac, which even today makes for a gorgeous external display for any Mac. (The iMac stand is hidden under the shelf.)

target display mode is not supported for that model.
