My brand new 13" TB Mac (according to Coconut Battery) which was built 5 days ago has a battery manufacturer listed as Simplo. I am sure my previous defective Mac had a different manufacturer.

Battery thus far seems good.

I also have Simplo as manufacturer and getting around 3 hours of battery, so don't get your hopes up :)
Doing exactly the same work on my previous 2015 MBP , I got round 7 hours.

Simplo and DSY just assemble factory.
The most important is the factory of battery CELL, which is unknown for the user.

And I have Simplo as well and getting good battery life in general. So let's just say that if it makes a difference, it is probably not noticeable:p

I have a Simplo with 150 cycles and its at 85 percent health and I get about 3 hours of battery life. I took the back plate off to dust the fans and noticed that its starting to swell. btw sorry for resurrecting an old thread.

Take it in to have the battery serviced ASAP if you're not already planning to, not only could it damage the computer but it's a potential fire hazard as well.

my computer is long out of warranty. sadly there was a service program on the nTB models for battery swelling and not the TB. I plan on taking it soon though anyways
