Anyone here concerned about wear and tear on this essential port on our MB? Would Apple be able to repair/replace the port when it fails or becomes lose? We use this port for charging and accessories so IN/OUT many many many times.

Probably you could find someone, but I'm not concerned about it at all.

Yes, it looks readily repairable. It's nice that it's not integrated into the logic board, so repairs should be relatively easy if they should be needed. Still, unless someone is really rough with the connector, yanking it sideways all the time or other sorts of abuse it shouldn't be an issue. Though given how many people manage to tear up their magsafe charger cables I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at how badly people mistreat their expensive electronics.

I cant' for the life of me find the replacement part anywhere.
Anyone know where to get the plug and ribbon cable assembly?
Tried eBay. Drew a blank.
