2016 mbp and LG 27UD88-W

Hi all

Im looking for a new monitor to connect with my touch bar 13" mbp.

I think the LG 27UD88-W looks great but I have some questions.

1. Can I connect both my mac and a pc to it? Mac on USB C and my PC with HDMI?
2. If i connect a USB 3.0 dock to the USB 3.0 port on the back of the display, will it slow down to usb 2.0 speeds?

Anyone own this monitor?

1. Absolutely, it has 2 HDMI, 1 USB-C and 1 Displayport In. You can switch inputs via the OSD and toggle on the bottom of the monitor. I have used mine with multiple inputs and it performs great.
2. I am speculating on this as I haven't tested this specific scenario but you should be able to connect a USB 3.0 hub/dock down stream from the device and it still operate at USB 3.0 speeds as long as you aren't exceeding the maximum on any one device in the chain.
