I just recently received a computer upgrade at work. I put the order request in the day after Apple's most recent MacBook refresh, knowing that I'd be getting the 2016 model, as I was holding out to see if Apple was going to offer a 2017 model with 32GB of RAM. They didn't, and I was in need of a new laptop (was stuck using a super-heavy Lenovo which was starting to give me some BSODs). I didn't care enough about any of the other 2017 upgrades, so I pulled the trigger.

Anyway, I just got my new laptop and they also sent me a Macally HUB (UC3HUB3GBC) which has one charge-capable USB-C port, 3 USB A (3.1) ports, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. I went to Amazon to look up this model to see the specs and what others thought of it and only found a couple of reviews, one of which was from October 2016 where the reviewer said that it didn't work reliably with the MBP 2016. There was a comment on that review by someone else as of about 3 months ago who stated that he/she experienced the same thing.

Is anyone here using this HUB with the MBP 2016?
