I have a 2016 MBP that is eligible for keyboard replacement and has been having some keyboard issues that seem to be getting worse. It began with one key about a month ago but it has been affecting several now. I found a droplet of very hard dried something on one keys about a month ago. I am concerned that possibly something sticky was introduced below they keyboard. I highly doubt though that this is what is actually causing keys spanning across the entire surface to feel sticky and sometimes get stuck. I understand there are LCI's within the MacBook, so my question is if there was a thick liquid spill, would it make it to these sensors? would it show up? I have not attempted to open up the casing yet but I may do that.

I do not remember ever spilling anything on the MacBook but I do not want to send it in if apple is going to try and find "water damage" all over and bill me an arm and a leg.
