My ~3 week old 15" MacBook Pro died in the middle of a Time Machine backup. Totally off. When I powered it back on, it said the battery was at 0% and not charging, despite having been plugged in constantly for a few days. Then it died completely and wouldn't power on at all.
Apple swapped it out and now I have a new one. Three techs at the Apple Store said they hadn't seen that problem before.
However, when I was in Best Buy today, I mentioned it to a guy at the return's desk, and he said, "Yep, I've seen four of those so far." I thought he was exaggerating so I said, "Literally, four on just the new MacBooks?" and he nodded and held up four fingers.
I noticed at least one other user on another thread had the same problem. Anyone else seeing this?
