I'm attempting to boot windows off a USB C 3.0 SSD. It all works fine until the wifi connects. The whole system freezes up when I try pinging or downloading something.

Apparently I'm not the first one having an issue trying to use USB and WIFI at the same time on the new MBPs
[doublepost=1479591393][/doublepost]I think I may have found the issue. Turns out USB C has really poor interoperability. My USB C Samsung T3 drive came with a USB C to A 3.0 adapter. I was adapting it to a SATECHI 3 port USB A 3.0 and SD/MicroSD adapter. That was causing my troubles.

I have a USB 2.0 type C cable from my Nexus 6P charger I used. Although it's much slower, it never completely locks up anymore.

Guess I'll have to get some OEM Apple Adapters..
