I have a 2016 13" MBP and a 2016 9.7" iPad Pro and I use the Duet app to extend my desktop when im out and about. this has worked flawlessly for almost a year until this week I plugged my iPad into the Mac using the lightning to USB C cable and I got the "device drawing to much power" message. in System Information the iPad shows up and is drawing 2400ma like it always had but no data connection. Ive tried resetting the SMC and uninstalling reinstalling duet to rule that out but it just wont work. Duet even shows that the iPad is connected but wont turn extended display on. any ideas? ive also had issues with the Mac charger suddenly stop working like someone has unplugged it. I dont know if thats related and my USB ports are dying although I dont think thats the issue as they all seem to be working fine.
