I use my comp a lot and can afford it, so I don't mind spending some extra dollars. Just want the best light-weight laptop there is.

What are your thoughts. rMB or wait to WWDC and get the rMBP?

If Benjamin is your middle name get yourself the best of both worlds. Get a fully spec'ed out rMB for putting in your man purse now, and a rMBP after they get renewed in a couple of months. Plenty of people doing the same.

Impossible to advise you I'm afraid, you haven't given any indication what you use the computer and your preference with power or portability.

The most portable will be a rMB and if your performance needs are modest that will be your best bet. However if you edit video or do other processor intensive tasks or need to attach to a multitude of peripherals the rMBP may well be a better choice.
