I'm going to buy a new MacBook Pro in the next coming days and I found a 2016 MacBook pro TB 13 inch 2.9 i5 for 1250 and I found a 2017 MacBook pro 13 inch Base Model nTB for 1250. I'm so stuck on what to get. I want the extra ports and touchbar but I also want the newer processor and better battery life. I need help deciding.

2016 TB or 2017 nTB

Go for the 2016 touchbar MacBook Pro. The touchbar models all have 256GB of storage compared to the base 2017 with its 128GB SSD. Also cooling is substantially better on the touchbar model. I think the GPUs of both are around the same speed as well.
