So my 2016 CTO 13" MacBook Pro seems to have bitten the dust after 8 months. No response to power on any Thunderbolt port, no response to the power button, and resetting the SMC and NVRAM yields no change. No Genius Bar appoints today (not even walk ins at my two preferred stores) so I'll have to see what they have to say tomorrow. Any other cases of these seeming to just die? I wonder how long a replace logic board would take if it needs replacement since I have the higher-end i5 and 16GB RAM. And before someone mentions it, there's zero change that there was liquid damage that would have killed it.

My 15" died last year and was only 2 weeks old, I took it to the Apple Store and they told me I would want my $3,000 computer repaired and said I should just return it. Doesn't really answer your question but yes I did have it happe
