I'm going to upgrade from my 2016 13" TB 256gb macbook to a 2017 512gb model.

I only really using it for productivity and some adobe products – photoshop and lightroom. I don't do any heavy video editing or gaming. I do use the touch bar when the MB isn't connected to an external monitor but only for volume, brightness, etc.

Question is touch bar or non touch bar?? Anyone grappled with this?

Faster and more efficient CPU, and more ports.

The TB isn't the only difference, but if you don't need the speed and don't use it or the extra ports then you may as well get one without.
