Why would my 2017 Catalina 10.15.1 MB Air struggle to boot? [loading bar/indicator loading very slowly, & ultimately stalled], I hold power key to shut down, then the computer starts up as it should. I recently bought this used & can return if needed.

I would start up from internet recovery and do a complete wipe and reinstall of the computer, and then if it stays unreliable, return it.
