I have been going back and forth with Apple for 4 months now on an external display issue with a 2017 iMac 27" 5k.
The latest is I have this rather weird request from Apple to upgrade the TB FW version:

I've been asking them how to update it when the firmware updates are bundled with OS updates. The 23.1 is current for this iMac and 10.13.3.
I'm not running the 10.13.4 beta (and they know that by all the sysdiagnose reports I've sent them).
I've been able to ask some folks who are running the latest 10.13.4 beta and their firmware versions are at a lower revision than 33.1 (they are on older models though).
Since Apple is being unresponsive (doesn't take a week to answer that question ffs) could some kind soul running the 10.13.4 beta 7 on a 2017 iMac confirm what TB firmware they are at?
Trying to figure out if that 33.1 is a typo, a in house version only, or is actually included in the 10.13.4 update.
