Just got a top case replacement for 2016 and had heard they were using 2017 adjusted keys now. The keys seem to feel less tactile, think I preferred 2016. Is this the adjustment, or is it because its new?

Bring it into an Apple store and do an A/B comparison to their display models.

The keyboard on my 3 month old MBP feels solid with no issues. Definitely not what I would consider spongy, but I never had a 2016 model to compare to.

Edit: I have no idea what word got autocorrected to “flyover” so I replaced with “issues” above.
