Hi, just wanted to hear opinions of fellow owners,

I've been finding my 2017 MacBook (12", 16GB RAM, 512GB, i7, Mojave) will just sit there not responding to my keypresses on the password screen for up to 20 seconds, when opening the lid (MB in sleep). This also happened in High Sierra.

When it had High Sierra,it also had really bad glitches when opening the lid (garbled graphics until I entered password), and garbled graphics would appear from time to time, but upgrading to Mojave seems to have gotten rid of this behaviour (still getting slight glitches/flashes once a week or something).

Do other people see these issues? Could it be a failing graphics/board?
It's nothing serious and it isn't a big enough issue for me to send it in for a repair, but was just wandering what this could mean.

Thanks!

I have noticed that if you press escape (or maybe the power button will work as well) it seems to turn the screen off, and pressing it again brings it back to life with the other buttons and trackpad responding as normal!
