I bought a new macbook air and have been experiencing wifi problems. When I boot the computer up or awake it from sleep mode, it connects to wifi for a few seconds then disconnects. Afterwards, it takes upto a minute for it to find the wifi network again and connects again. This time the connection is fine as long as the computer isn't turned off. I have an old macbook pro which doesn't experience any wifi issues when using them side by side. Should I take my air in to the genius bar to get it checked out?

This happens to mine when on battery. If its on power it wakes and connects immediately. On battery it may take up to a minute for it to re-connect. I think its an OS issue.
