Hello I was wondering if the 13 inch 2017 MacBook pro with TB is still a good option in 2018? Although it is a dual core, since it is a 3.1ghz is that fast enough for a couple of years of light video editing and making beats? 8gb of ram will be fine and I have heard the SSD is lightning fast. I found one for 1100 with 5 battery count.

Dude take that's, that's a freaking steal yes it is still a great option as people are still buying the 2017 none Touch Bar for more and you get a 4 year warranty on the keyboard of that laptop. wish I was in your area to get that budget beast.

Thanks for the replies. I pulled the trigger. Is the dual core 3.1ghz processor going to be quick enough for 3-5 years since it seems quad core is the new norm? I figured since it was a 28w kaby lake that it could hold up.
