Hi guys. I’m looking for a new MacBook. And ideally I would like to get a MacBook Pro 16 but it’s out of my budget. I have a friend selling a 2017 15 i7 2.8 256ssd. With low battery cycles. I am considering it or I would have to get a 13 inch 2019 pro and eventually get a monitor. Wanted to get your input I’m really torn between the two.
Thank you.

I wouldn’t be buying that 15”. Keyboard will go at some point and they’re only covered for 4 years. Not really any reports of the 2019 ones having an issue and covered again for 4 years anyway.

The 13” Pro, even the base model, is pretty quick. It has a quad-core processor.

Yup it has great specs it’s just the size that bothers me but I will just attach it to a monitor
