2017 MBP 15 vs 2017 MB 12 KEYBOARD

I got both the MBP 15 and MB 12 both 2017 versions and noticed that the MB 12 keyboard keys are more squishy around versus the MPB keys are more clicky. Are these two supposed to be identical? I prefer the MPB 15 keys although both keyboards are pretty good.
