2017 TB MBP always shuts down and never sleeps

I take my personal MBP with me to work everyday. Sometimes I take it out to use and sometimes I don't however I never take the charger with me to work. However when I boot up my MBP it always says the MBP was shut down improperly. At home, it always wakes up from sleep properly and never shuts down. Anyone know the cause and how to fix this?

Seems to be an issue with the new public beta. I get it too. Hopefully apple fix it soon.

Upon closer look, it doesn't shutdown, it crashes on waking up
