I am a bit puzzled. I ordered a new trackpad for my Macbook because it was "multiple clicking" or just not responsive at times when using it. Enough to make me just want to replacement as it made web browsing horrible.

Followed the steps to replace it, however after completing the install, there is no "clicking sound" or feedback... I only see on the older models there is an adjustment screw.

I even re-opened and loosened the screws a bit to make sure the trackpad is square in the frame.

To those that might ask: Yes I did make sure to transfer the metal washers to the new pad, 4 rectangles, 2 circles

Any help is appreciated.

Someone can close this...

Watched the video to find out that the macbook has to be powered to get feedback. My battery was drained prior to opening it up. I turned it on and was able to get feedback. Had to loosen and re-center the trackpad to make sure all corners click properly.
