2017 Trackpad Double Click Function

Edit: Title says double click, I meant right click function.

I'm not sure if this is a software or hardware issue. All of a sudden the two finger tap is not working. I tend to use this function a lot when trying to get file info of folders, or right clicking to open another tap.

Am I the only one encountering this? Most of the time it works but sometimes it doesn't.

Have you checked the settings to make sure it's at least supposed to be doing as you expect?

Yes, that's the first thing I checked. Thanks.

I figured it out! As I use my MBP 90% lying down, the trackpad only registers two finger taps if fingers are parallel horizontally. If you try to tap with two fingers at an angle or vertically, it won't register.

Whew!!! I thought I had to go through the hassle of exchanging my MBP.

I was worried too that I had water seep thru the cracks when installing my BSE skin. All is fine and working.
