2017 vs 2018 - is the Touch Bar different?

I've read a few reviews that the Touch Bar is different from the 2017 to 2018 model. Is this true?

I don't think the touchbar as such is changed, but it is now affected by the "truetone" ambient light sensor.

The TouchBar in the new model changes color temperature when True Tone is on, just like the screen. That’s the only difference from the 2016 and 2017 model.
