In November, I got my refurb July 2018 13" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. It's a great machine, I'll be using it for school. Everything about it is perfect except one thing. When I put it to sleep and leave it, the stand-by battery is awful. I came in and it was 45%, I put it to sleep and left for 1.5 hours. I came back and it was at 14%. What's going on? Is something in the background draining energy, I really am at a loss. Every time I close it I have to shut it down so its not dead the next morning. Help
[doublepost=1545778381][/doublepost]I make sure all application are closed, and I put it to sleep. Could it be that it is giving power to my blue yeti mic? Thats the only thing I can think of. I also do not know if I am dumb and stand-by and sleep are different things.

you have an USB mic connected but no power?

yes, yes it is possible.

Does your Blue mic plug directly into a USB port, or is it plugged into a USB hub?
Easy to find out if that Blue Mic is an issue. Unplug that mic when you put your Mac to sleep...

What method do you use for sleep, and do you do the same thing every time for sleep?
For example, closing the lid should be a good method, and would prevent an accidental wake by touching the trackpad, or some other inadvertent action.
If you have the Blue Mic plugged in to a hub, disconnecting that hub from your MBPro may make the difference.

Your Activity Monitor might be helpful, if you look at the Energy tab - which lists those Apps that consume a lot of power.
Be sure to also watch the CPU and memory tabs, too. You can sort those so the highest levels are at the top.
That may give you some clue about what might be happening.

Have you checked if "Enable Power Nap" is unchecked, under Energy Saver settings for battery?
