Here and there!
So...the ticking/clicking issue from the 2016 MBP may be back. Taking my 2018 2.6GHz 15" back this afternoon because I can hear a thermal expansion/contraction noise from inside my machine during use. Sounds like it's coming from under the right side of the Touch Bar, so possibly a heat pipe thing?

Anyone else having this issue? Don't want to exchange if it's widespread...I'll just return and get something else.

Nope - that noise is an 8th gen Intel CPU feature. I owned a Spectre Xbox360 with an i7-8550u / 1050 dpgu - and it made electrical, mechanical hard drive like ticks. Enjoy the laptop....Cool
