Hey everyone,
I’m looking for an iPad case that holds the 2018 iPad and an Apple Pencil for my girlfriend’s birthday. The main thing I’m looking for is something stylish that comes in a few colors since she tends to prefer very specific colors.

Can anyone recommend anything that will last?

Thanks!

Any of the cases with a Pencil holder that you find on Amazon will be fine. Here's an example (I have this one in black)
The thing to be concerned about is how much of the back part of the case covers the screen... that could interfere with a screen protector... (push the edges up of the protector).

Another downside of these type of cases has to do with how the Pencil wakes up with motion. Unless she will be keeping the iPad stationary on a desk most of the time, the movement of the iPad (with the Pencil in the case) will cause battery drain on the Pencil.

I prefer using the Apple Smart Cover with the MoKo Pencil case/sling. This Pencil case comes in different colors and works with a variety of cases. I can remove the Pencil case when I'm using the iPad but not the Pencil so that the Pencil isn't "awakened" by the iPad movement.

Tech21 makes a nice one, though it's clear. It's available at Apple Stores. I have loved their protection cases since the iPad 2. You could solve the clear "problem" by putting a colorful/design skin on the back? :)
