I got my wife a 2018 MacBook Air, and there are some differences between it and my 2017 MBP 13".

For example, on my MBP, I can just lightly tap the track pad to do things, but on the MBA, I have to actually force click it?

Another thing is you can start the MBA by touching any key.

Lastly, on my MBP, the SMC reset is Control, Option, & Power button for 10 seconds, on the MBA, you only have to hold the power key down for 10 seconds.

Don't understand the differences, but we are really missing the light tap feature on the trackpad.

We are so spoiled with the MBP trackpad we may send the MBA back and get a MBP!
