2018 MacBook Pro battery draining question

I fully charged my 15” 2018 MBP yesterday afternoon and then powered it off. I turned it on just now (roughly 24 hours later) and the battery is showing only 96%. I haven’t used Mac for years, not sure if this is normal.

I know with my 2017 model, it would always do that, the battery would just start to drain automatically even when "Powered off" but the second you flip up the lid it turns back on..I talked to apple about it its totally normal for the battery to drain a little bit

Check your wake reasons: log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason"

Weird that something is draining it while completely off, but these machines seem to have some power management
peculiarities -to put it mildly...
