I have the 2018 MacBook Pro 15” . I hooked it up to the LG Ultrawide monitor. This is the 38” Ultrawide screen. Using a USB to HDMI cable it worked. Audio volume does not work and split screen features/functions from downloaded app do not work with MacBook.

On Windows laptop you have two options to use screen on laptop separate from monitor or use as 1. Here you can only use as 1. When I open app I have no options to choose form split screen options. When I open up Safari and open 3 separate windows it does not automatically separate them or allow me to separate them. There is audio sound but volume can not be adjusted.

Something else does not make sense I have a total of 3 windows open with a total of 9 Safari Tabs open and I see 10.04 GB of RAM out of 16GB of RAM being used. Something is wrong here. I can open a lot more tabs on my iPhone which only has 3GB of RAM. 10GB of RAM usage is way to excessive I believe
