Hello,

I just bought a 2018 Macbook Pro 15" and I am having problems connecting my LG 38WK95C monitor. Isn't the supplied USB C cable the Macbook Pro comes with capable of video output to my LG 38WK95C? Or do I need a different cable?

The Macbook Pro does not recognize the monitor at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The cable that ships with the MacBook Pro is a charging cable capable of carrying power. I believe the monitor ships with the appropriate cable. Use that.

That makes sense. The monitor didn't come with one so I ordered the Apple $39 one.
