Just got my 2018 MBA 256GB, i must say i really like the 3rd gen keyboard. Had the first gen Macbook 12" before. So pretty good upgrade for me. One thing noticed after using the 2018 MBA is the aluminum.
Anyone here noticed the top and bottom are more flimsy/flexes more than the other macbooks? I only started to notice this when i was at the coffee shop/school packing up to go the MBA felt flimsy and cheap. I went to Best Buy to check out the other models including the 12" macbook, the 13" and 15" macbook pro, doesnt seem to have this issue. Yet, the same 13" macbook air 2018 does.
its not a huge deal breaker, but honestly, paying the nearing the same price as the 13" macbook pro i expect
same build material.
Is apple trying to keep cost down/keep the macbook air as "air" as possible.
OR
is this a defect? Cant really think of it as a defect unless apple decided to cheap out on the construction of the air.
Anyone else notice this?
