2018 MBAir with 27" Apple Cinema/ThunderBolt Displays...?

I assume it's possible, but for some reason can't find ANYTHING with Google on the subject, every "how to" is to do with a MBPro, not the Air.

I have someone coming to stay for a couple of weeks, and when they get here we'll pick up a new MBAir, will they be able to plug into my 27" Apple displays and external keyboards? Or will they have to use their MBAir display while working here?

PS... any number of dongles necessary is not an issue. I'm happy to buy them especially since that's something I can get ahead of time from Amazon if I know what I need to use.

It’ll work with a Thunderbolt Display but not with a Cinema Display. Everything you need to know is in Aaple’s specs. https://www.apple.com/macbook-air/specs. The Air has Thunderbolt output and the display has Thunderbolt input. You just need the adapter:
