Just wondering what you get on yours. I'm getting a lower Write Speed reading on mine for some reason, compared to the speeds early testers are claiming. Is my SSD ok?:

Stress: 5Gb

WRITE SPEED:
1235 Mbps

READ SPEED:
2649 Mbps

is the mbp new? is still indexing? those writes speeds i got after i just unbox it...after 48 hours the writes speed up a little

after 2 days yes...but it depends, if your mbp was off for 75% of this time...the answer would be no
So you test it with blackmagic disk and nothing else running right?

I've been using it of and on but just been putting it on standby...not turning it off completely. I tested it with nothing else running but BlackMagic. Is there such a thing as a DOA SSD? I really like this MBP, a replacement for the first one I received with a little "creaking" sound when being handled and a slightly yellow screen on the left. I would hate to do the exchange lottery again. Please tell me my SSD is ok.

What are you getting on yours now?

Speed tests still remain almost the same as yesterday on mine.

The thing I noticed while testing is that the Write Speed readings reach a little over 1,200 Mb/S then it goes down slowly to about 1,100 before doing the Read Speed, which remains consistent. Is this normal?

I'm willing to suspect I got a somewhat defective or slow SSD installed. I know we're all caught up in the "throttling" issue but could this be another one?

The speed is often also different between SSD sizes. Everyone should mention their SSD size with the speed results. (Larger SSDs are usually faster)

Your ssd is fine. Like i said i get around 1900 write and i have 512 ssd and around 280 gb free.
If your ssd is almost full, also this is a big factor

Someone else with base 15" mbp and 256ssd so..... :)
