I was wondering.

Does anyone who has tried the latest beta have this issue.

I have installed

MS Office 2016
Parallels 14 Beta
Chrome Beta

It seems to have a black screen on wake overnight. Touch Bar works I can tell apps are open and when I alt+tab the Touch Bar changes.

short sleep cycles are not effected.

Only overnight or deep sleep I suspect. I had listen for hey Siri on. I will turn it off to see if it makes a difference.

I have same issue with base model. Hopefully they will fix with next release of public beta.
 
Fishrrman (the broken record) speaks out again:
Why not just turn it off at night, and reboot in the morning?
- no more black screens (from which you probably have to reboot anyway)
- fast internal drive means short bootup time.

In time, Apple may issue "a fix".
Or someone here may discover a software setting that does the trick.
Until then, stop fighting with it.

I have also seen this it seems like the DGPU is in use most of the time? I cannot find the column to see which app requires the High Performance GPU. The option to add the column is not there. The screenshot is from apple support page.

It's in the release notes of Mojave beta.

These issues have all been resolved in the developer beta released today. You can expect public beta probably tomorrow will be the same.

Where does one sign up for Parallels 14 beta?

Is Hey Siri working for anyone on the beta. Mine does not activate. I can click the button then it listens.
 
Is there something wrong with mine ? Should I reinstall the OS ?
 
I don’t understand why mine does not work. I reinstalled Mojave beta completely wiped the drive and it still does not work

Bugs are just random like that. Just keep reporting them so that they can replicate your problem. You must also supply the system files that are gathered in the feedback app so that they can spot the issue.
 
It’s not a bug. I reloaded High Sierra and it does not activate either. Apple is exchanging it

Yes that can make it a random bug but it’s possible your machine has a hardware level fault. You should try an exchange in that case and if it happens again report it.

The replacement works now. Odd how what seems to be software issue is hardware
