Hi, I have a new MBP and every time it is plugged in photoanalysisd and cloudd are consuming an insane amount of bandwidth and cpu resources. I know it is the facial scanning in photos. I have about 170GB in photos and it is optimised on this machine (have originals downloaded on my iMac).

It has been doing this for a few days and in total has dowloaded about 100gb. which gets purged every time I reboot. It currently says that 1500 photos have been scanned and 15k remain. It has spent days doing this.

Any advice about what I should/ can do?

It just seems to be taking so long, I did a clean install of macOS on my old MBP and it finished this much quicker without all the downloading as well.
