Hello all my friend! 
So, the July 2018 MBP refresh has me somewhat disappointed. Of course, someone will always find fault over a new release. I have a 2012 MBP 15" 2.3 GHZ, 8gb RAM. It has been a wonderful, hardworking machine! However, it's time to upgrade and I'm tired of lugging "this beast" around town. I love the size and weight of the 13" inch. Here is where I need want my friends on the forums advice. I was thinking of the 13" 2.3 GHZ, 16GB RAM, w/500gb HD. I multitask a lot and I use Photoshop minimally. So, I will be going from a 2012, 15" i7, 2.3 GHZ to the 13" i5, 2.3GHZ. I know there are different processors, but will I be making any real gains from this switch? HELP! The only thing I like about the touchbar is the finger print reader. I don't need the fastest laptop, but I want something to grow with me over the next five years. What say you friends?
