2018 MBP Wallpapers

Good question. Unusual for them not to be. Head to Twitter and ask Tim or Phil.
Oh, this is awkward, out of the box, the special software image already installed does not contain the new wallpapers!
Same for me, but I used Migration Assistant to transfer everything over from my 12" MacBook, so I was assuming that since they weren't on my MacBook, the weren't on the Pro. Glad I'm not the only one.

It's the one with a dark sky with a lot of blue in the clouds. I think most people called it Cloud, but my computer says Ink Cloud.

I have the 2018 MBP set up as new without Migration Assistant but the wallpaper is still not there.
Apparently not. That is weird. I am going to call Apple and ask.

When the first Retina MacBook Pro came out there was a similar thread for an elusive wallpaper of zebras or something... it was never shipped but someone posted a copy.
Apple often advertises with wallpapers they don’t ship, probably for licensing reasons because they generally turn out to be wallpapers made by a third party, not by Apple.
In fact with regards to the zebra one, the photographer was apparently approached to buy the image for promotional materials and had no idea it was Apple.
Even if Apple wanted to include them, it seems the earliest 2018 Pros came off the production line in the second week of June, which was quite possibly before Apple had even made the marketing materials.
