I opened my 2018 MBPR 15 and cleaned the fans with air spray (btw I do clean the fans once in 2-3 weeks and I have never got any issue like this before and I'm not even sure that the cleaning process caused this). So the next day, it turned to this first

End then on the 3rd day the bubbly screen disappeared and left the bottom corner of the screen and touch bar got worse with other small dents on a few other random areas.

I have apple care. but honestly, I don't want to pay more ($99 for the screen and idk how much for touchbar) to get my screen and touch bar replaced, just because cleaning fans could lead something like this (which again - I'm not sure). any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Don't tell them you cleaned your fans and try to get a replacement.

Cleaning fans probably shouldn't screw up the screen, this looks very much like liquid/cleaning solution/alcohol damage to me. (Especially because it's localized on both screens bottom left)

You don't need to clean your fans 2-3 weeks. I haven't cleaned my 2012 for 1.5 years before i opened the bottom and cleaned it from the inside.

The propellant for the compressed air may have gotten on the screen and touchbar. I agree with simply taking it in for a replacement. This reminds me of when I decided to clean the screen of my 2012 MBP. I reached for the screen cleaner, but grabbed a spray bottle of lens cleaner. I wouldn't think it would make much difference, but it looked like there was a hole in my screen where the lens cleaner was sprayed. Fortunately this was during the time that Apple was replacing screens for delaminating problems. I told them the truth about what I had done and they replaced it for free anyway.

Good call!

I always cleaned my fans with compressor, not cans of air so nothing ever comes out except of well, air. :D

I used this one to clean which I thought was safe.

Take it in and get the display replaced.

And... FOR GOSH SAKES... STOP "CLEANING" the fans with the compressed air.
Look what the result is !!!

It should just be one fee of $99, but liquid damage may be an issue as that is what it looks like.
