I bought the MacBook Pro 15-inch model that got refreshed in summer of 2018, and I’ve sent it off last Thursday to have the key E and R replaced. My question is: am I just going to get replaced parts from 2018 or the newly refreshed keyboard from 2019?

I live in Europe, therefor I don’t know what politic they have about costumers service. I also don’t have AppleCare.

If anyone knows how it works, I’ll be very appreciative :)

u can get a refund now as the 2018s are part of the keyboard repair program.

FWIW I doubt there will be a significant difference between the two anyway. The 2019 machines were immediately included in the programme and that's as close to an admission the issue isn't fixed as we're likely to see.
