I found a MBP, (1TBssd, 32gigsRAM, 2.6i7, Radeon Pro 560) for the same price as a M1 air, (256Gigssd and 16gb ram) that I have been looking at from apple. The MBP is off craigslist. My work load is fairly light, school mostly, some gaming. Witch one should I get.

Get the M1. The 2018 has an unreliable keyboard that can't be fixed.

I "upgraded" from a 2019 16" MBP with Radeon 5500 to a base model M1 MacBook Air and I could not be happier. There are a few edge cases where the 16" inch is faster/better but it is outweighed by the benefits of being on M1. This M1 MacBook Air is my favorite computer I have ever owned.

Go with the M1 without question as it is the way to the future. The 2018 MBP keyboard is awful. The Touch Bar us yesterday's news as well. The M1 is a rocket ship. IMHO
