2019 15" rMBP what's in Store ?

Hi Guys !

Do we have any news, rumours on what could be the possible changes in the 2019 rMBP especially the 15" ? Are we in for a major design change ? Like slimmer bezels and Face Id or something. I am thinking about buying a 15" rMBP however I am not in any urgent or dire need of one. So if it is something substantial that is coming in 2019 considering the massive investment buying a rMBP is I can possible wait.

There's a major sticky thread. I wouldn't expect a redesign until 2020, unfortunately. Have $3k ready to go once they fix the keyboard, until then, 2010 it is I guess.

Will we not see atleast slimmer bezels atleast till next year ? 2019 ?

Slimmer bezels would require a complete redesign to shrink the footprint, so I doubt we will see that in 2019 unless Apple senses an urgency to redesign the keyboard with a new chassis design. Redesigns have happened every four years for the last decade or so: 2008-2011, 2012-2015, 2016-current. I wouldn't expect a new design until 2020, unless again like I said Apple accelerates a keyboard redesign which I think will probably require chassis modifications.
